Affiliates
TAO has three affiliate programs - private label, ODM, and product sourcing.
For the private label program, TAO produces a product under a customer's brand name, design, and packaging which is sold exclusively through the customer's existing distribution channels. The private label approach offers the customer the quickest and most economical way to release a new product through existing channels. The standard production fee is about 20% of the overall cost.
We also offer an ODM (origin design manufacture) program which takes your idea from concept to a finished good. Within the program, TAO will allocate a design team to turn your idea into a prototype. From prototype, TAO will start tooling, electrical design, mechanical design, safety compliance, scheduling and handle all logistical concerns. TAO's on-site staff in China will manage projects daily and perform Quality Control and Assurance until the product offering is finely-tuned for the marketplace. A standard service fee is 15% of the overall project cost.
The third program available is product sourcing, an import/export service for customer merchandise. TAO’s Asia office (Shenzhen, and Taipei) will facilitate the project management, logistics, and documentation requirements. The standard service fee is 10% of the cost of goods.
